Emoji Maker – Free Slack & Discord Emoji Generator
Emoji Maker is a free tool that turns a few words or a single photo into custom emoji for Slack, Discord and Twitch. Pick a font, colors and alignment, stack up to three effects, and save a PNG or an animated GIF. It trims the file to meet each platform's size limit, and your text and photos are processed inside your browser rather than uploaded to a server.
Use it nowFeatures
Text emoji
Turn words into a 128×128 emoji. Choose the font, text and background colors and alignment, or keep the background transparent. Line breaks carry over to the result.
Animated text effects
Scroll text in four directions, add neon, flickering neon, rainbow, blink, shake, typewriter or glitch effects, and combine up to three before saving as a GIF.
Image emoji
Upload a photo or drawing and add effects such as shake, spin, party, bounce or intensify. Tools for background removal, area selection, AI cutout and captions help you tidy it up.
Fits Slack and Discord limits
Under Save size, pick Slack (up to 128 KB), Discord (up to 256 KB) or Twitch (28, 56, 112 px). The site adjusts frames and quality to fit, and tells you when it cannot.
Previews and high resolution
Check the actual size, an enlarged view and light or dark chat mockups. Save at 256 or 512 px, or download every size at once as a ZIP.
Processed in your browser
Your text and uploaded photos never leave your device. There is no account to create and no cost.

Frequently asked questions
How do I add an emoji to Slack?
On desktop, open the emoji picker next to the message box, choose Add Emoji, upload your saved file, name it and save. Your workspace settings decide who is allowed to add emoji.
How do I add an emoji to Discord?
Open Server Settings, go to Emoji and choose Upload Emoji. You need to own the server or have permission to manage emoji.
Is it free, and do I need an account?
It is free. You can save PNG and GIF files without creating an account.
Are my photos or text uploaded to a server?
No. Photos and text are processed only in your browser. Nothing is stored unless you explicitly choose to publish a text emoji to the gallery.

Slack allows up to 128 KB and Discord up to 256 KB. Choose the platform under Save size and the site fits your GIF automatically. If it cannot, it suggests shorter text or a faster speed.
